Kencar manufactures aluminium copings in a variety of widths and shapes. One of the main applications for Kencar’s coping range is to be glazed into the top of a curtain walling system.
Copings are designed to have minimal aesthetic impact on fixings and are installed from the roof side meaning there are no external lifts needed. This reduces the time required to install as well as additional costs.
Copings provide protection from the elements for a buildings structure. They are effective, attractive, and a weatherproof solution for perimeter and parapet walls.
Aluminium copings are fixed to the top of the wall creating a weatherproof seal whilst maintaining a visually pleasing finish to the building. Not having copings can cause water damage to the top surface of the wall. Having copings protect this top layer as it allows water to run down the front face of the building.
Our Imbris aluminium copings use innovative two-part brackets, complete with an extruded EPDM gasket to give maximum adjustability whilst remaining completely watertight.
Our copings can be fabricated in 2mm or 3mm thick aluminium at modular sizes to suit the desired aesthetic of the build and can be polyester powder coated or anodised.
